Handmade Bamboo Kuripé – A sacred, V-shaped applicator for self-administration of rapé (ha-pé). Crafted from natural bamboo, each piece is unique, lightweight, and made with reverence for ancestral tradition. 🌿

The kuripé is a traditional applicator used for self-administration of rapé (pronounced ha-pé), the sacred tobacco-based snuff of the Amazon. Hand-crafted from natural bamboo, each kuripé is a unique piece of functional art — lightweight, portable, and made with reverence for ancestral traditions.

What is a Kuripé?

A kuripé is a small V-shaped pipe, traditionally carved from wood or bamboo, that allows the practitioner to blow rapé into their own nostrils. This sacred act is done with intention — to cleanse the mind, ground the spirit, and open energetic channels.

🪵 Why Bamboo?

  • Sustainably harvested bamboo brings strength, lightness, and natural beauty.

  • Handmade craftsmanship ensures every piece carries care, attention, and individuality.

  • Smooth, durable finish designed for safe and repeated use.

🌬 How to Use

  1. Sit comfortably in a quiet space and set your intention.

  2. Place a small amount rapé in the palm of your hand. With the short end of the kuripé, smooth the rapé. Carefully place a small amount of rapé covering the hole of the shorter kuripé.

  3. Position the shorter end gently inside one nostril, the longer end in your mouth.

  4. With a steady and calm exhale, blow the medicine into your nostril. Repeat for the other side.

  5. Remain present with the sensations — grounding, clarity, and connection to spirit.

⚠️ Important Note: Kuripés and rapé are sacred tools of Amazonian and Indigenous traditions. They should be used with respect, mindfulness, and intention. Not for casual or recreational use.

All profits from the sale of these sacred plant medicines directly further the mission of Ayahuasca Community Fellowship, supporting spiritual growth, community healing, and the honoring of ancestral wisdom through sacred Ayahuasca ceremonies.
